Dear RBMP Interns & Graduates,
I imagine what you might feel sometimes.
Just when you get rolling on something (like the copywriting course, or RBMP or
RPRO), before you know it, you're introduced to another 'life-changing' course
like Coaching Cognition.
Well there IS a reason.
In fact, there are three reasons.
First, everything is related. The skills you develop in one area make you MUCH more
effective in another.
Much more effective.
Second, we're needing more qualified coaches to help us meet the high demand of
new RBMP and RPRO students eager and ready to pay YOU to assist them one-on-one,
just for sharing what you know through the 'eye of a trained coach.'
But there's also a third reason.
The BIGGEST reason...
Even if you NEVER plan to become a paid coach with us, I'm still encouraging you
to focus on developing your coaching skills here and now.
To explain why this is so important, I'm going to refer back to "The Essential List"--
the same list you've likely heard me discuss as the main thing to focus on to succeed
in business, once and for all.
"THE ESSENTIAL LIST"
To get where you want to go, you must develop...
- A Keen Insight
- An ability to influence others
- An ability to choose the right opportunities
for you
- An ability to create and communicate
value
- An ability to attract people to you
through networking and marketing
- An ability to inspire others by truly
connecting with them, by listening
- An ability to cultivate partnerships
You might wonder what I mean by "Develop a Keen Insight," which is correctly positioned
as #1 on the list.
Here's what that is...
Successful business people make good decisions that make them money, over and over.
It often appears to be like some kind of 6th sense.
Others think these successful entrepreneurs are just really smart.
While you could call it intuition (like a 6th sense) and while, yes, successful
people tend to be smart, what many don't realize is that most successful people
developed their sense and smarts--and very few of them were just merely born
with it.
You can call this intuition a "Keen Insight."
It allows them to choose the right opportunities, say the right things, ask the
right questions, and put things together in just the right way that money continues
to flow THEIR way, over and over.
You can develop this ability too.
But it won't come from a system you use or the opportunity you choose in and of
itself! What I'm trying to impart to you here is the whole enchilada.
So how do you get a Keen Insight?
Well, guess what!
If you focus on developing numbers 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on "The Essential List" you
WILL have developed a "keen insight" by accident.
Focusing on your coaching skills develops EACH of these items (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7)
on the ESSENTIAL LIST. And that's huge.
Let me give you an example:
To be able to 'just know' at a gut level what to ask and say to lead a prospect
to a solution that perfectly matches their needs, and have it be their idea, is
just ONE example of this in action.
If you get 'THIS' next point, you
get 'EVERYTHING'...
To be able to 'just know' at a gut level exactly what to offer an entire target
audience after only a few conversations with people... and how to communicate that
in an email, lead capture page, blog or marketing funnel so they get it and want
it bad--thats an example of what Im talking about here.
Coaching skills impact everything else you've learned and will learn...
It impacts:
- The effectiveness of your copy (you
can easily move large numbers of people to action ONLY AFTER you have learned how
to listen through the ears of a coach... because now you'll understand their needs,
fully)
- How you use the tools (like a lead
capture page, blog or website) so it makes you money
- How successful you are networking
in the social media world so it makes you money
- How effective you are on the phone
so it makes you money
- How effective you are at creating value that people WANT
As a coach you WILL see the
world differently.
If you wonder what allowed me to take very little knowledge about social media and
build a multi-million dollar business from it, teaching things effectively after
just a week or two of learning it myself... now you know.
Coaching Skills.
Mysterious, intangible and highly valuable coaching skills.
That YOU can learn right here, right now.
It's power. It's value. It's money.
It's helping others get what they want.
When you develop your Coaching Skills -- defined here as "listening at a deeper
level to an individual or an entire target audience, so you can correctly address
their REAL needs and then easily guide them to an appropriate solution"-- you are
directly addressing numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 on the list.
You may want to read that last paragraph again and refer to the list as you do--
OK, so what about #3 on the list (an ability to choose the right opportunities for
you)?
Did you notice?
Well, guess what...
Joining Coaching Cognition is an example of exercising #3 (choosing the right opportunities).
And hopefully I've done my job in communicating effectively to you why you want
to take this opportunity to work on your Essential List head-on with Barbara Silva
and Coaching Cognition.
Take a moment now to review below what is covered in this highly evolved and unusually
nurturing 24-week course with Barbara Silva, our coach of coaches--
